About the App
Solar Assist ZW is a mobile application that I am developing with Ray Kanavheti for the solar energy industry in Zimbabwe. As you already know, the country has great solar potential but the average Zimbabwean is not informed enough to take the right steps in their transition to solar energy solutions. We are hoping to do something about that. With this mobile application, users will be able to easily:
· estimate their energy needs,
· preliminarily size their solar PV systems and
· contact our listed retailers and installers for quotes and other enquiries,
all in a few simple steps.
It is our hope that by providing this service, we will be able to
· save many people from wasting money on substandard equipment and unreliable/untraceable solar energy companies
· avoid several issues associated with shoddy solar installations and
· facilitate efforts to step up the adoption of solar energy solutions in Zimbabwe.

As a solar energy company
If this sounds good to you and you would like your solar energy company to be added to the database, please follow this link and fill in the required details. The app automatically pulls details, from our database, of all our listed solar energy companies whenever a user wants to request a quotation or submit an enquiry.
As a user
The app is not yet available for download as we are busy with the last few iterations and minor adjustments. We are, however, aiming to have it on Google Playstore by the 1st of December and on istore not too long after that. We will advise. For now, we have a bit of room for a few more interested parties who would like to help review our app and give us feedback on what we can add, fix or adjust.
